Matter, 3 States

Matter is something that takes up space like a piece of candy or air. Matter comes in three states. Solid, Liquid, and Gas

Solids have a mold, like marbles (he means a definate shape). Solids can be squishy like yarn or rock hard like mom's desk.

Liquids are different from solids because they will flow once you spill it from a cup. You can give a solid a shape by putting inside of something such as a cup.

Solids can change into liquids, but it's still what it was. Such as ice. Ice is solid water when it melts it is liquid water. It is still water even though it changed states.
